Thank you Dave A for writing this guide
You will need a Google account.
Assuming you have one, install
Google Drive
on your PC. This will create a folder on your PC under your user name called Google Drive. Anything you save in here will be saved on Google's server plus any other PC on which you have installed Drive.
Next install
Autosync Android
Autosync android from the playstore on your tablet and/or phone. Instructions are
here
.
My folder is called DriveSyncFiles and on my tablet, (an original Nexus 7) the path is :-
/storage/emulated/0/DriveSyncFiles.
On my phone (a Moto G) I have defined the folder as being on the SD card. the path is :-
/storage/sdcard0/DriveSyncFiles
On the PC it is simple Google Drive/DriveSyncFiles
Then on your phone or tablet copy the Lyric Pad folder (the one with the Lyrics, Setlists and Backing folders in it) into the DriveSyncFiles folder (or whatever you have called it)
Then on your tablet or phone do a "sync" by clicking on the sync button. In a minute or two your Lyricpad folder will appear on Google Drive, and then on your PC. If you have other devices you have installed Autosync on then the file will appear here after a sync. (this can be done manually or automatically)
Lastly in LyricPad options, change the file location to your new folders.
I use the system by adding lyrics on the PC, doing most of the editing on the PC then any fine tuning or corrections on the phone or tablet. It all seems to look after itself.
There are some details of how I use the system
here.
