I am a big fan of Lyrics Pad, and as a regular user, i thought some of the following features can be useful

1. Currently when we set a particular folder as 'lyrics folder', it picks up lyric files only from the root of this folder, and does not take any files from the subfolder within this folder. I have around 1000 lyric files arranged in subfolders (genre-wise, artist-wise, etc) for better manageability. But for the sake of Lyrics Pad, I have to put all lyrics in one folder. So request you to include subfolders too when we select a Lyric folder.

2. Ditto for My backing tracks folder

3. In the set list option, there is a button on the lyrics page to go to the next lyric, which is very useful! Please include a button to go to the previous lyric too. Also pls include a previous and next button in the normal lyric page too!

4. Since different lyrics come in different width sizes, it would have been better if we can control the size of font by pinching in and out on the lyrics page. If this is difficult to execute, pls put 2 buttons to increase and decrease font sizes on the lyrics page.

5. As the lyrics get scrolled, the length is not an issue, but the width is at a premium. So request to put all controls in the lyrics page at the bottom in a 'control bar'

6. I went through all documentation but could not find what are the various special words that get highlighted in 'text highlighting'. Accidentally I found that 'chorus' get highlighted. But 'male' and 'female' are not highlighted in a duet. Pls add these two words

Thanks!!

In regards to no 1 and 2
Lyric Pad allows you to sort by artist and genre within the open lyric menu system.
To use this feature you need to add genre and artist information within each lyric file using @!genre and @!artist tags.

thanks for the reply. My main lyric folder (which I update regularly) is on my PC, where I need to maintain the folder structure for better manageability. I sync it with the lyric folder in my tab once a week. When I use the Lyricpad, I don't really need the artist/genre info. I know what all songs I have to sing that evening, and I just want all the songs in the sub-folders too to appear in the list so that I can select them while making a set list.
