editor jumping around the song file

I love my Lyric Pad and I am still using version 2 on my Samsung Galaxy 10.5. I use my editor allot to add stuff or make corrections on the fly. I start the editor and tap the spot in the song I am trying to edit or paste from my clipboard and while my curser is still at that point my view of the file jumps to random places in the file. Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a way to correct this as it quite annoying?

I found the issue was the auto text setting on the table. Once turned off, the jumping stopped.
