I use google docs for my song edits. I have 100 of them and they are all formatted using the Roboto Mono font in hopes to import them into lyric pad to keep the chords aligned. Using a simple cut and Paste from docs. I also tried to save as txt files in both Unix, Outlook, sent as attachments and sent as body texts in emails both Gmail and outlook.
NO matter how they come out of that mess they NEVER align. I even made a couple of test songs no luck.
Has anybody figured out how to work with Google docs and Lyric pad in a way that makes sense. I am stumped as to how Docs is working.
I really don't want to have to edit each and every song. I am hoping I don't have to buy Word, Import into word change format export to txt files every time I have a new song.
This does not work.
I tried Courier and then tried Arial I alignd chords carefully and copied them into lyric pad there is no difference. They don't seem to align from Google docs.
Anybody had luck doing this?
