I am considering buying an Android E-reader, specifically an Inkbook Classic 2. First, has anyone tried to run Lyricpad on one of these? E-ink is readable in direct sunlight. That would be the main benefit. It does not have Google Play. Can LyricPad be installed without going through Google Play? Failing this, are there any recommendations for using LyricPad outdoors?

Hi Chase

Lyric Pad can only be installed if a device has google play installed.
However, most android devices that do not have google play pre-installed can have it installed later by the user. (Do a google search for instructions)
I am not familiar with the particular device you are talking about however.

Most devices seem to be ok outdoors , especially if you use black text on white background which reduces glare and also turn the brightness setting up on the device.
