Welcome to the manual for Lyric Pad 3.
Lyric Pad 3 is an Android application that is designed for gigging musicians to use on stage and in the practice room.
It displays and automates (scrolls) lyrics, chords and tablature for songs and organises those songs into quick to access database.
Lyric Pad also has a powerful setlist management which allows the user to quickly and easily manage their performance.
Lyric Pad 3 has been designed to extremely adaptable to suit a wide variety of uses.
Because of this it will include features that you may not use, and that is ok.
It has been designed that you as a musician can use as much or as little of the app as you like.
Lyric Pad 3 is the 3rd full redesign of the Lyric Pad application building on 10 years of development.
Lyric Pad 2's code was written in June 2011 and was based on the the Android 2.2 API. This meant that many features that have become standard in modern apps were not possible to be implemented because of the old base code. Lyric Pad 3 has been a complete rewrite of the entire Lyric Pad code which has allowed many new features.
