Text Colors Different Between Create and Perform

I am new to LP3, and am still learning. The more I use it, the more I learn, and the more I really like this app!! So, I almost hate to report a bug. Especially when it is a minor nuisance bug.
I found a LP2 manual, and liked being able to include directives in my .txt files. So, in LP3, I have disabled recognize chords and recognize special words. I have set color A ([ ]) = Red and color 2 ({ })= Yellow. Here is a sample of the beginning of my LP2 .txt file:

After I import it as a LP2 file, LP3 shows (correctly) the following in create:



But, in Perform, the following is (incorrectly) displayed



As you see, some text that should be white is red, and some that should be yellow is white.
