Cable for midi control of Lyric Pad? was created by Tipping
Is it possible to control Lyric Pad from a midi foot controller? If so, what cable is recommended?
In the documentation, it says that keyboard commands will control Lyric Pad. Is it possible to send PC or CC midi commands? ...or midi Notes?
Here is my setup...
Liquid Foot Pro +
Axe FX II
Android Tablet (an older Samsung model)

Hi Tipping,
Lyric Pad does not currently have midi support however it is on our design list for Lyric Pad 3.
Lyric Pad supports key codes that can be sent from a bluetooth keyboard, mouse, remote or pedal.
Good examples are the airturn and pageflip pedals.

Sounds promising. What is the ETA for ver. 3?
Wish list: further midi commands:
- assign a midi command to each song (PC. CC, or Note) that calls it up.
- we have "next song in list" already, how about adding "previous song in list" - for rehearsals, or shows with an improvised playlist.
- Anchors, (as in HTML). If I hit a button on my midi pedalboard which corresponds to a code in a song section, it goes there. ...as an alternative to scrolling. (Note A5 goes to "Bridge 2" on the lyric).
