Lyric Pad can play mp3 backing tracks for your selected song after a user definable delay (Set in options). All backing tracks need to be mp3 format files with a .mp3 file extension and must be in the backing track folder that is specified in the options. When a lyric file is selected and displayed Lyric Pad will search the backing track folder for a matching backing track file. eg. If your lyric file is "im_yours.txt" then the matching mp3 file would be "im_yours.mp3". If no matching backing track file is located then no backing track is played.
You can also define a specific backing track file to use by using the @!mp3 script tag within your lyric file without the .mp3 extension. eg.
